Our Story

Tucked into the heart of downtown Castlegar, Grant’s Fine Dining blends the elegance of French cuisine with the easy charm of Kootenay living. Inspired by European bistros, the space feels warm and timeless—soft light, clinking glasses, the scent of wine and butter in the air.

Chef Grant, trained in classical French technique, builds his menu around the region’s bounty: coq au vin with local Pinot Noir, duck confit alongside foraged mushrooms, lavender crème brûlée made with honey from just down the road. Each dish is thoughtfully paired with a curated wine or cocktail, making every meal feel like an occasion.
